Howe TeagueHowe Teague was one of the masters of Ozarks square dance fiddling. He wore many hats: radio DJ, recording artist, highway department crew member, a link to the older generations of dance fiddlers, and an influence on a younger generation of fiddlers over the years. This recording was made in his home in Salem, Missouri a few months before his passing in the summer of 2005.

Jim Orchard lives in Eminence and is a long-time player in the bluegrass circuit in the Missouri Ozarks. This recording was made in the back room of Weaver's Pickin' Parlor in Willow Springs, where Jim often plays and is master of ceremonies. His second is Larry Dethridge, Willow Springs, also a staple of the Ozarks bluegrass scene. The tune is one that Jim wrote and named after a local landscape in Shannon County.
